The competition will be held at the Royal Cistercian
Monastery of Santa María de Veruela in Vera de Moncayo, Zaragoza (Spain), which is one of the birthplaces of Grenache cultivation in Spain and located within the Campo de Borja PDO region.
It is an iconic and historic location for this internationally prestigious competition.
The panel of judges will comprise 80 international experts, who will taste and evaluate the competing wines and decide which of them will win the gold, silver and bronze medals.
In accordance with the competition rules, the judging
process will be rigorous and impartial, focusing exclusively on the quality of the wine in order to determine which ones
are worthy of a medal.

Garnacha TASTING CONTEST WORLD 2016
Around 80 international experts will be part of the jury that will taste and evaluate the wines of Grenache. The best wines receive medals in bronze, silver and gold, respectively, according to the scores received.

The deadline to register samples is the 22th of January 2016. The competition is open to all categories of wine (containing at least 60% Grenache): sparkling, still, fortified, dessert, liqueur wine… and all producers and countries. From your account you can log on at any time and enter more wines.
